Juniors

Bray Golf Club has a thriving and active Junior Section. Junior Members are young persons between the ages of 8 and 18 years who are still attending full time primary or second level education. However, Junior Members whose second level education extends past 18 years of age will be permitted to continue as Junior Members until they complete their studies at second level.
Notwithstanding any other provision of these rules the membership of a Junior member shall be automatically renewed on an annual basis subject to the approval of the Management Committee.
The annual subscription for a Junior Member shall be one eighth of the corresponding amount for an Ordinary Member.

Coaching
Included in the Junior membership fee is a coaching fee which entitles each junior member to participate in the extensive Junior Coaching programme that is run by our club professional. Coaching sessions take place on the practice areas at the club.
A special academy programme is run for new junior members to get them up to speed as quickly as possible and ready to play on the golf course.
Email notices are sent in advance of coaching programmes and players are encouraged to sign up quickly as spaces fill up very quickly.

Competitions
During the summer months junior competitions are run every Monday and Thursdays. All standards are catered for with separate blue,  white, red and green tee competitions. Competitions are also run during Christmas and Easter holidays and mid-term breaks.
