Aim Bray Golf Club aims to operate a consistent, contemporary and forward-thinking dress policy, commensurate with a modern-day golf club. It is in all our interests to maintain reasonable standards of casual but smart dress in keeping with golfing traditions. Golfers and visitors at Bray Golf Club are therefore made aware that the following are required standards that must be adhered to both on the golf course and in the clubhouse of Bray Golf Club. Course and Practice Facilities Neat, conventional golf attire is acceptable while soft spike golf shoes must be worn at all times. The following items of attire are not acceptable: Jeans. Track suits. Vests or sun tops. Football or rugby style shirts, t-shirts or collarless shirts. Branded collarless golf apparel is acceptable. Non-tailored shorts. Football or beach shorts. Sandals, trainers or metal spike golf shoes. School uniforms (Junior Members). Peaked caps – unless worn with peak pointing forward. Clubhouse In the Clubhouse neat, off-course golf attire or smart casual wear is acceptable. The following items of attire are not acceptable: Jeans/Denims - tie dyed, cut or torn and ragged end denim trousers. Clean and presentable denim trousers are permitted. Tracksuits. Vests or sun tops. Tailored short sleeved apparel without overt advertising are permitted in the Clubhouse. Football or rugby style shirts. Branded collarless golf apparel is acceptable. Non-tailored, football or beach shorts. Golf shoes are not permitted on the upper floor of the Clubhouse. Hats are not permitted to be worn on the upper floor of the Clubhouse. Neat and clean trainers are permitted for Junior Members. Wet gear is not acceptable on the upper floor of the Clubhouse. Management may, from time to time, decide to issue a waiver to cover one off events. This will be communicated to all members in advance of such an event. Club staff are authorised to approach Members and Visitors if the dress regulations are not being adhered to. Neat and tidy dress is expected at all times by members, staff and visitors
