Social

Bray Golf Club prides itself on having a very active social scene. We believe that having social activity in our club is imperative to creating a positive atmosphere both on the course and in the club. Our Social Committee, led by Vice Captains Pamela and Jim, work hard to ensure that there is a variety of events in our calendar through the year.

Rat Pack Event

“A great afford was made by all to get in character at the well attended Rat Pack event last Saturday evening. Well known Mafia members behaved and all had fun”

QUIZ NIGHT

A big thank you to all who made our Quiz night on the 2nd February such a great success. Particular thanks to our Quizmaster Billy Freeland and to his accomplices and scrutineers,  John Coffey and Derek Gallagher.

UPCOMING EVENTS - NOTES FOR YOUR DIARY

Sunday 1st of April.

Big day in the club and great night always, our Captain’s Drive in, a 9-hole golf competition, then inspiring speeches, dinner and music. Music will be from the Bristlehounds who must be nearly our resident band at this stage, but they do a great job and it promises to be a really enjoyable night. Further details of times and menus will be out shortly.

Friday 9th March

Last year Sandyford Little Theatre Company put on " The Tin Man " in the club and sold out two nights, well they are back. This year the show is " Shakers Re-stirred."
In " Shakers Re-Stirred " we see the girls of Shakers cocktail bar, the newest, shiniest cocktail bar in town where, in spite of the glitz and glamour of the d├ęcor, the patrons, and the people who serve them, are none too happy at all. Details of ticket prices will be made available shortly.

So, keep yourselves free for the next few Fridays and have some fun and craic.
